Our newest spot is nestled in the middle of an Oak Hammock. This is the third location we have added to our schedule. The children really love being able to play in the forest and we were ecstatic to find another awesome spot to explore .#midpinellaslearnandplay #forestschool

Oak Hammock
This location has plenty of room for exploration. We have been keeping track of all of the varieties of mushrooms at this basecamp. Our field guides have been super helpful, and the kids are really getting into touching them and checking out the cap, gills, stem, ring, and cup. We have also found several bugs at our basecamp and the kids love seeing where they are from week to week. This past week we brought our stick let's to test out as well.
Our explorers always have their field guides, bug catcher, and palm fronds for exploration.
